Bluecoat Lawn and Snow was started in Fall 2019 by the O’Connell Family. With an early background in lawn care and tree removal, Ian O’Connell, started the business at the prompting of his wife, Mindie, and oldest son, Liam. The business grew and a year later Ian left law enforcement after a 20 year career.
A police officer and great grandson of an Irish immigrant who fought for the Union Army Ian named the business to honor his roots and call to service. Bluecoat Lawn and Snow is truly a family owned and operated business.
The O’Connell family is committed to serving their customers with integrity and attention to detail. They view their business as a reflection of their family values. It is not uncommon to see Ian and his family working together on a jobsite.
